Dear Eddie J. White Families:

The publishing and shipping of the yearbook will be completed on June 29, 2018. We have developed alternative options for students to receive their yearbook.

There are two ways you can receive your child’s yearbook.

1)      You may come by the Lovejoy Library, 1721 McDonough Road, Hampton, GA 30228, July 9th from 5 pm - 9 pm to pick up.

2)      You may stop by Eddie J. White K-8 Academy, 11808 Panhandle Road, Hampton, GA 30228, from July 10th - July 12th from 10 am-12 pm.

The EWA yearbook staff thanks you for a wonderful school year. Please enjoy your summers.

Title One Parent Information:

Dear Parent/Guardian and Family Members,

Eddie J. White Academy is a Title I school, and as the parent/guardian and family member of a child attending a Title I school you are an important part of the Title I team. Your input is vital in the planning and implementation of the parent and family engagement program and activities in our school. The focus of all Title I programs is to help eligible students meet the same high academic achievement standards expected of all children, regardless of their socioeconomic status and background. The following survey is confidential and will be used to assist us with future planning for parent and family engagement activities and events at Eddie J. White K-8 Academy school. We appreciate your feedback and thank you for taking the time to complete this survey.

Dear Eddie J. White K-8 Academy Parent(s),

Happy New Year to each you! I hope you and your family have had a wonderful holiday. It is hard to believe that we are at the mid-point of school and embarking upon the second semester. I am thrilled about the journey ahead as the EWA family is gearing up for a spectacular second semester. As always we are looking forward to the continuous collaboration with our parents and community as we service the children of EWA. We will continue to work out of our four quadrants of operation: Curriculum, Instruction & Assessment (CIA), Communication, Connections, & Relationship (CCR), Safe & Orderly Environment (SOE), and Positive, Professional Decorum (PPD) in order to provide quality service to our students and parents.

WolfPack Parents, second semester brings about many activities and events and I invite you to join us as we support our students. Your partnership is essential as we continue to increase student performance in all aspects. This semester we will administer the Georgia Milestones Assessment (GMAS) beginning May 8th and we need your help. A variety of interventions have been put in place by the faculty: small group pull-out sessions, computer-based skill-building assignments, Title I After School remediation, and Flashback Fridays. As the educational manager of your child’s learning, it is important to insure that your child takes full advantage of all opportunities to “strengthen” their learning skills. Let’s continue to show the world that Eddie J. White K-8 Academy is a school of academic excellence!

On behalf of the Eddie J. White K-8 Academy faculty and staff, I wish you a prosperous New Year and thank you in advance for your partnership and support. “Teamwork makes the dream work” and through a close and collegial connection we will continue to make our school an even greater institution of learning for our children to become world leaders.
